 School for the Performing Arts. Every December, the historic Shuler Th
 eater's stage is filled with the scenes of Dicken's play, \"A Christma
 s Carol,\" where the characters are brought to life by professional an
 d amateur actors.\n\nPerformed annually on the first and second weeken
 ds in December. Shows take place Friday and Saturday evening and one S

 e historic Shuler Theater in downtown Raton, New Mexico, is a state la
 ndmark and remains the center for performing arts in northeastern New 
 Mexico. The Shuler lobby is the permanent home to eight WPA murals dat
 ing to 1934 by artist Manville Chapman. The theater is located at 131
